Hi everyone!

I am so excited about the holidays this year.  This will be the first time my boyfriend and I spend it together, plus his parents are coming so it will be my first time hosting!  FINALLY I get to use all the decorations I have accumulated over the years.

I am also excited because this will be distressed damselfly's first holday season!  Tonight I am making gift tags in a wide array of colors for any and every color scheme!  I will also have cards for sale, plus beautiful jewelry and hair accessories, perfect for you as well as for giving!

freshwater pearls, frosted glass, and metal elements with a toggle clasp inspired by japanese cherry blossoms.  for people who love cherry blossoms, but want something a little less feminine.


hanami necklace: 18" in length; "hanami" is the japanese term for cherry blossom viewing festivals.

 

somei choker: 15 1/2" in length.  "somei yoshino" is the name of the most popular variety of japanese cherry blossom, or "sakura".

two necklaces, made by me!

this is a choker I made about a year ago.  it's freshwater pearls and a small bird taking flight.  I'm not sure what sort of clasp this has; I'll have to look for the necklace :)



this is the necklace I finished last night.  it's pink disc freshwater pearls, silver chain, a flowering branch, and purple glass bead accents and a toggle clasp.  it's choker/collar length.
